Crystal Lakes, a great new development in Denham Springs, LA. I have lived in Livinston Parish for the last 25 years. Who would have thought? Growing up in Baton Rouge, just across the Amite river from Livingston Parish, this was just a place to go and buy legal fireworks for holiday's. Nobody wanted to live there. Mostly a rural parish, land stayed in the family and was handed down from generation to generation. Most people worked and played in Baton Rouge.
My, how things have changed! Now everyone wants to live here. Livingston Parish is now one of the fastest growing parishes in Louisiana. Even now, Livingston Parish has not gone through the real estate slump the rest of the country has.
